We are now in that silly season between spring and summer.

It seems that the clouds also cannot make up their minds, as I struggle to get them in solid patterns. Every flow of cloud that you will see in here, was solid when it started out, but the wind knows that they are still weak, and it simply blows them into streams. I have to tell you that I love the cloud streams, as at times they can be turned into lovely patterns by the wind. We call it the canvas used by the wind to paint the sky with cloudy grandeur.
Come and see.

Some scenes below of solid clouds, but they didn't stand a chance, as the wind just picked them up during its journey.

This is a landscape shot of the picture above, and look how small it is now, especially with the big cloud flow above.

These clouds also didn't stand a chance, as they were soon blown away.

Now this was interesting, as I wanted to see the start of the cloud flow, and we travelled to a park at the east, not far from us. And yes, I found the start as the wind was busy to demolish that solid cloud bank. It looked like the solid cloud was blowing its streams through the sky (2 shots).

I took some shots on our way back home and wanted to show you two lovely cloud patterns that we saw on the way in the sky (2 shots).

And back at home the clouds had all disappeared.

Almost a fairy tale, isn't it? I think that it's the little boy inside me that I allow to tell me the stories, as I have always been addicted to the views in the sky. South Africa has many provinces, and I have been to all of them during my construction days, and it is amazing to see the changes in the sky. Obviously, the provinces have different biomes, and the weather conditions are also different.

For instance, we can be at 19C here at the Southern tip of the African continent and further up north inland, they have temperatures exceeding 36C. Then again, they can be at low temperatures, and we can be frighteningly hot down here. I think one main reason for this is that we are right next to the Atlantic Ocean, and up north they have no ocean. Of course, recently, that El Nino guy is starting to rule the roost.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
