This is what I love to get in anticipation of the dark's arrival.
I have this habit of going out to get a storm's advancing clouds, as usually the winds create some great artistic views.
So many times, I wished that I could sketch, or paint, but then when I try to sketch an elephant, it turns out to look like a donkey with squint eyes :)
Only joking, but yeah, I am definitely not a Picasso or a Michaelangelo. But knowing and accepting this, nothing prevents me from adoring art, and for a long time I was hooked on Constable's works, as they are splendid. We also have a lady here that runs an art school, and some of her paintings are really beautiful. Her school is on the Bizweni premises, and Papillon supports another school there that works with disabled children. I will soon do a post about it.
But I digress and come to see nature's art in here.
This below is a different mountain, and it stands alone at the start of the mountain range that I showed you above.

Even when things start to get darker, one can still get some shots of the sunspots that land through a gap in the clouds.
The trees in the shot above deserved a closer look, as the sunlight enhanced their features. They had a green, silvery look.
And that's it. My wife is marking her degree students' essays and at the end of the term, we plan to take a short break. A few days are more than enough for us, as we never embark on a two week or longer holiday. Normally on the third or fourth day of the break, I become bored, as after the third day I have taken a ton of photos of the areas that we explored. The great thing about it is that they are all photos of a different area, and normally the photos show the beauty of our country. Don't get me wrong, as we also talk to the people, and visit some coffee shops, including museums and other attractions, but nature is our first love. Just our way of doing things, as we cannot afford stays at swanky hotels, and besides, in the smaller towns there is normally nothing fancy to crow about. But the people are genuine and very friendly.
Such is life.
