Today I tried to imagine where I would be in the next 7 years on Hive, this was after I saw a tweet about how a fiver user have made $2 Million from Fiver using the platform. The first thought that came to my mind was Hive, 7 years is a long time, but it’s not that long when you enjoy doing what you are doing. For instance, I love Hive, I enjoy being on Hive, I love doing what I love doing best which is writing, I have been on Hive for a year plus and it feels like nothing. When I tell people how much I show up on Hive to create content, their reply is always, how do you do it? Honestly, it’s passion and having a bigger dream.
$2 Million is a lot of money to make within 7 years, but this is the power of dedication and hardwork. In the next 7 years I believe that Hive will be in a much more better place, in almost every aspect. This applies to life generally and having a purpose, this freeelancer that spent 7 years on fiver and made $2 Million, was able to do that because she woke up everyday with a purpose and she worked everyday to have an end result, this way she can look back at her achievement with great pride. Same thing with building your account on Hive, there are different ways of building your account. We have the HP and the reputation aspect, you can decide to grow your HP level over the years and not pay too much attention to the reputation. Some people have lots of HP but low reputation, you can see an Hive account with 40 reputation but 100k HP, this is because, they are more focus on building HP. These people are able to do that by buying Hive and powering up.
They don’t create content nor engage, they have seen Hive as a great investment, which is great because Hive is one great investment. A social media account where you invest and save your money like a piggy bank. We have the reputation aspect, where you have to show up and engage on the platform so you can have a higher reputation. Reputation says a lot about someone’s account and how much they have contributed and engaged on the platform. This is something worth a lot because it gives the opinion of integrity and as the name implies, reputation. This doesn’t come easy or gets built in a day, it comes with a lot of hard work, it might not worth a lot now, but give it some time, Hive reputation will represent its name and meaning.
