Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in India and I like this a lot. People celebrate this festival with their near and dear ones and they also invest money because this festival is for prosperity and happiness in life. We believe that Diwali is the right time to invest in Gold because Gold used to be one of the precious instruments of investment. Although there are many other better options available to invest money including crypto a major chunk of people still believe in gold and they buy gold every year on Diwali. Although there is no such rule that people can only buy Gold on Diwali instead they can invest in this whenever they want. Investing in gold during the Diwali festival is a tradition and the majority of people follow this. Even I have been doing the same for many years but this time I am going to change the tradition.
I have decided that this Diwali I will not be buying gold instead I will be buying some crypto which I will hold for the next 5 years at least. Whatever gold I have purchased during Diwali is still with me and I never thought of selling it until now. If I calculate the profit then I am in decent profit but because of emotional factors, I could not book the profit yet. If I follow the same with my Diwali crypto investment now then I will it will help me earn great returns in the next few years since I don't have a plan to sell it real soon.
Many Indian families wait for the festivals like Diwali to purchase gold as it is considered auspicious. The limited supply and high demand for yellow metal ensure that gold remained a safe asset against inflation. However, recently, there has been a massive shift in the mentality of Indians to invest and diversify across asset classes.
Investment is a journey that we keep on achieving slowly and patience is one of the very important components. Lack of patience with investment might take away the opportunity to bag better returns and I always try to invest with a long-term strategy. Sometimes things don't work the way we expect in the planned period and that's when we need more patience. I have been investing in gold for the last 10 years and still hold everything that shows my patience level is high.
Wish I could have invested in crypto at that time then for sure today I would have been a millionaire :) I still believe that I joined crypto on time and there is a lot for me that I am getting in to and I am a crypto believer. When I invest daily in crypto through SIP then why should not I invest in this when its time to make a wise investment and I don't think that there is anything better than crypto as of now. Investing in crypto is like investing in the future and now is the time to start it.
We have seen massive growth in crypto and now with that growth massive adoption is also started which means those who join the crypto train will be getting benefits in long run. So as I mentioned that tomorrow is Diwali and I am going to invest this Diwali in crypto. Its a change but this change is good and with this, I am completely going away from traditional investment instruments. Things have changed for me and I am enjoying this change a lot.
