As memórias do meu país não cabem num pen drive; não cabem numa foto colorida, nem mesmo numa em preto e branco; não cabem na argila que segura o lápis com o qual algum herói tentou escrever a história... As memórias do meu país são um contraste; como tal, compartilho-as com vocês.
Hoje venho novamente com um poema para acompanhar estas fotografias que correspondem à minha intenção de participar desta excelente Concurso que a @cryptocompany, @crazyphantombr e a @hive-br nos trazem nesta semana #34.
Desta vez, o tema em questão são os pen drives USB. Um assunto que realmente me surpreendeu, pois sei que eles não são mais usados em muitas partes do mundo. Mas aqui no meu país, um mundo irreal para muitos, alguns de nós ainda somos forçados a depender desses dispositivos para transportar informações em muitos aspectos do nosso dia a dia.
Brincando com o irreal e o simbólico, eu queria tirar essas fotografias como se oferecesse vários códigos para sua leitura, assim como o poema que as acompanha. Você me dirá o que pensa sobre tudo isso.
A corda não se rompe,
não chove.
Continua a partir nossos corações
com suas histórias,
abraços,
e o vento que carrega a luz.
Não importa na guerra
se quem mata morre,
atravessa os mares,
sonha com você,
morre com uma lembrança amaldiçoada
ou suas intenções com a vida
virada de cabeça para baixo.
Diga a eles que a corda não se rompeu,
porque o tempo e os abraços
seguem seu curso...
Eles têm o seu gosto.

The memories of my country don't fit on a flash drive; they don't fit in a color photo, or even a black and white one; they don't fit in the clay that holds the pencil with which some hero tried to write history... The memories of my country are a contrast; as such, I share them with you.
Today I come again with a poem to accompany these photographs that correspond to my intention to participate in this excellent Contest that @cryptocompany, @crazyphantombr and @hive-br bring us this week #34.
This time, the topic at hand concerns USB flash drives. A topic that truly surprised me because I know they're no longer used in many parts of the world. But here in my country, a world that's unreal for many, some of us are still forced to rely on these devices to carry information for many aspects of our daily lives.
Playing with the unreal and the symbolic, I wanted to take these photographs as if offering various codes for their interpretation, the same goes for the accompanying poem. You'll tell me what you think about all this.
The rope doesn't break,
it doesn't rain.
It continues to break our hearts
with its stories,
hugs,
and the wind that carries the light.
It doesn't matter in war
whether the one who kills dies,
crosses the seas,
dreams of you,
dies with a cursed memory
or their intentions with their life
turned upside down.
Tell them the rope hasn't broken,
because time and hugs
take their course...
They have the taste of you.
