30 is the fourth studio album by English singer and songwriter Adele, released on 19 November 2021 by Columbia Records. The album was recorded between 2018 and February 2020. Each track was recorded in almost a different studio. Adele has collaborated with producers such as Greg Kurstin, Inflo, Tobias Jesso Jr., Ludwig Göransson, Max Martin, Shawn Everett and Shellback. This album was inspired by Adele's experiences and anxieties following her divorce and its impact on motherhood and fame, as well as on her son's life. Musically, it is a Pop, Soul and Jazz album with elements of Dance-pop, Gospel and R&B.
30 was a major commercial success, selling 5.54 million copies worldwide in 2021. It became the best-selling album of 2021 in the US, the UK and worldwide. In the UK, the album achieved the highest first-week sales for an album by a female artist since Adele's third studio album 25. 30, reached number one in many countries, including the UK and the US. 30 has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, and won the Brit Award for British Album of the Year at the Brit Awards 2022, making Adele the first solo artist in history to win the award three times. Adele is a globally loved artist with a truly amazing voice, so the release of her album is a global event. Adele's vocal performance was amazing in her 30 albums as well as in her previous albums. The album has great emotional songs and many of them touch the heart. I listen to all the songs in the album 30, but I can say that the songs I listen to the most are "I Drink Wine", "Easy On Me", "Cry Your Heart Out", "Hold On" and "To Be Loved".
