Blast Ability and Thorns Ability are really powerful abilities that can be very effective in battles. Especially Monsters with Blast Ability can attack very mercilessly, so I need to develop better strategies and protect my team against their brutal attacks. Otherwise, it becomes almost impossible for me to win the battle. I often encounter Monsters with Blast Ability and Thorns Ability in battles, it is not easy to fight against them and win the battle, but on the other hand, it is not difficult to defeat them with a good strategy. Monsters with Reflection Shield Ability are very effective against Monsters with Blast Ability, Thorns Ability, Magic Reflect Ability and Return Fire Ability. That's why I take care to add Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability** to my deck.

  • **Reflection Shield Ability : This Monster doesn't take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire.
  • Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.
  • Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
  • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker.
  • Return Fire Ability** : When hit with a Ranged attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.

There are 11 Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability in Splinterlands, 3 of which I have in my deck. But I would love to have more so I plan on leveling up my other cards so they have the Reflection Shield Ability. Because I badly need the Reflection Shield Ability in battles. Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability can help me a lot in winning certain battles, even the toughest ones. Indeed, they are very effective in certain battles and I can say that they are much more effective when used with a good strategy.

I use Monsters with Reflection Shield Ability in battles very often, today I will share 2 interesting battles with you, I hope you like it.

BATTLES

Lost Magic
Explosive Weaponry
Mana Cap 44

  • **Lost Magic rule means Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.
  • Explosive Weaponry rule** means all Monsters have the Blast ability.

When I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player before starting the battle, they had quite powerful cards and I expected that the opposing player would prefer Ranged Attack Monsters in this battle, so I preferred Quix the Devious as the Summoner. Quix the Devious is a very powerful summoner that reduces the Ranged Attack of all enemy Ranged Attack Monsters by -1 and the speed of all enemy monsters by -1. I also knew that speed would be crucial in this battle. I put one of the Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability in the second position and the other in the penultimate position. And I knew that Monsters with Snipe Ability and Scattershot Ability would make very effective attacks in this battle, so I added them to my team. And I put them in the middle position. My strategy in this battle was a bit risky, but I had to take that risk to win this battle.

To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was also very good, and it was especially wise to opt for Conqueror Jacek Summoner. Because in this battle, Monsters with Scattershot Ability would be very effective. But not having a Monster with the Reflection Shield Ability on the opposing team would be a huge disadvantage for the opposing team. Although the opposing team is very powerful compared to my team, my strategy worked quite well and I was able to win this battle, especially thanks to the Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability. I recommend you to watch this very challenging and wonderful battle from the video or battle link, so you can see how effective Monsters with Reflection Shield Ability are in battles.

  • **Snipe Ability : targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.

  • Scattershot Ability** : Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target.

BATTLE 2

Battle Ruleset
Healed Out
Mana Cap 20

  • Healed Out rule means all healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

When I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player before starting the battle, I was sure that I would be fighting against a level 3 Yodin Zaku in this battle. Yodin Zaku is a very powerful Summoner that makes all friendly monsters have the Blast Ability, granting +1 health to all friendly monsters and +1 Ranged Attack to all friendly Ranged Attack Monsters. That's why I added Venator Kinjo with the Reflection Shield Ability to my team for this battle without hesitation.

I also knew that there would be Monster(s) with the Snipe Ability on the opposing team, so I only used Melee Attack Monsters in this battle. Because in order for me to win this battle, my team's back line shouldn't have been attacked. Because Monsters with the Sneak Ability target enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position. And I chose Quix the Devious as the Summoner in this battle as well, to reduce the opposing team's speed and reduce the ranged attack of the opposing team's ranged attack monsters by -1. My strategy in this battle worked really well and my team won the battle very easily despite a level 3 Yodin Zaku. I put both battles in one video, I recommend you to watch both. You can watch this battle from the video or battle link and see how Monsters with Reflection Shield Ability change the course of the battle.

My opinion

Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability can be very effective in some battles and can be very useful to the team. Frankly, I would like to say that they are much more effective when used with a good strategy, and we have seen this clearly in the above battles. There are 11 Monsters with the Reflection Shield Ability in Splinterlands and I would love to have them all because they help me a lot in winning some battles. I usually use Monsters with Reflection Shield Ability in second position or next to a Monster with Taunt Ability, I think that's where they are most efficient. Otherwise, they may not be very efficient in battles.

What are your thoughts on the battles and the Reflection Shield Ability? I would be glad if you write your thoughts in the comments
