3 2 1 hurray. It’s that time of the year. But one will ask what time of the year? Why is everyone so hyped and powering up hive when it’s not close to the beginning of a new month? As we do at the start of every month, we power up some hive to celebrate #hpud. Well, today is a more special occasion. Hive is 3 years old.
Hive has been here for more than 3 years though but this is a celebration of 3 years after the fork from steemit. Hive seems to be growing stronger and stronger by the day.
As a way of celebrating its 3rd-anniversary theycallmedan has thrown a challenge at the community; he has asked that we power up at least 10 hive which will make you eligible to win hive power delegations.
So to show my commitment I have decided to power up 10 hive for the #hivepowerbday. I hope we can all power up and build our stake to give out more valuable upvotes to the community.
Am almost at 1000 Hp. Am sure I will get there by the end of next month. If I power up this 10 hive I will be around 786 which will get me closer.
Hive decided to give us its own happy birthday by pumping today. The highest it went was 0.54 which am sure made a lot of people glad. I was glad to see the numbers go up even though I didn’t make use of the pump. Whenever hive pumps your commitment to the platform grows and it feels great.
I’ve not been here for long but I can say hive is truly getting where it promises to take us. Happy hivepowerbday.
