Hi vegan friends, it seems like it's been a long time since I posted on this community and today I'm going to make a vegan recipe, namely cafe-style French fries, which I made myself at home with ingredients I had at home.

These french fries are very easy to make, and you can certainly enjoy them at home; their light, savory flavor makes me want to dig in right away.

It just so happens that I have a lot of potatoes at home and I wanted to make a snack on this sunny day. This snack is perfect for relaxing at home and is also a big hit with children—I’m certain your kids will love it, just as mine always enjoys French fries, especially when dipped in their favorite tomato sauce.

I enjoyed these french fries at a cafe yesterday, and since I’d love to have them again, I decided that instead of going back to the cafe to buy them, I’d just make them at home to enjoy with my child.

For those of you curious about how I make my French fries, simply follow the step-by-step instructions that I’ll be sharing in today’s post.

Materials used

half a kilogram of potatoes, 1 packet of cornstarch, salt and mushroom bouillon to taste

Preparation procedure

First

I started peeling the potatoes one by one, and it turns out some of them have already rotted, so there won't be that many left in the end.

Second

Next, I took the potatoes—cut into long, matchstick-like strips—and soaked them in a mixture of salt water and mushroom bouillon, then boiled them for approximately 15 minutes.

Next, after I boil my hands for 15 minutes, I continue to add cornstarch to the fried potatoes. I stir stir

Next, after coating them in potato starch, I fry them for approximately 15 minutes—or until the potatoes are crispy, or however you prefer them.

And there you have it—my café-style French fries are ready! You can enjoy them at home with your children. They make a perfect snack for a relaxing afternoon, or a great treat to keep in a jar at home; these fries stay crispy for quite a while, though they won’t remain crunchy for days on end.

It’s wonderfully crispy and savory—just like what you’d get at a café. The sauce is spicy, too, making it a perfect dip for the fries. Honestly, these fries are exactly to my taste!

Thank you 🙂🤗
