Merry Christmas celebrations
Christmas reflects the spirit of happiness and we know how to utilize every opportunity to celebrate - after all life is all about celebrations and living happy, isn't it ? As far as I remember, when we were a kid, we would visit places where Christmas celebrations happened, because the decorations attracts all kids. And I remember, Mom used to make cakes at home, in a traditional way, keeping a container on a kadai filled with sand. That was our traditional oven, to fulfill our demand, probably Cake evolved in our world like that. Now that we understand what it feels to celebrate Christmas, we allow our kids to enjoy it to the fullest, respecting all religions.
Our daughter loves to decorate the Christmas tree, so we buy her all that she needs for this day. And this year, it was special, as she wanted to be the Santa Claus of our society. Santa Claus is portrayed as a legendary figure in kid's mind, bringing happiness for everyone. In my absence her brother jumped in and found out an outfit for Santa Claus. Kids are much smarter than us to quickly figure out, from where to get the dress and get it delivered to home. In my absence he manages most of the things, making him more responsible.
And I must thank to all the ladies of our society to step forward and take all initiatives to celebrate in bang - we have so many kids in our society - who does not want to have fun!!
That was an outstanding decoration for the event done by our ladies. It must have taken a lot of careful planning and timely execution to come up with this - kudos to all of you. And with a small contribution, they also arranged snacks for all kids, fulfilling the event.
The official photographer (me) certainly misses this event every year, had I known the plan of nature this time, I would have stayed. But irrespective of that, the show must go on.
May this Christmas brings happiness for all of us - the hive community, irrespective of religion and culture.
And special thanks to everyone in our community, who sent me these photos on request, to be able to showcase to the hive community. For the first time, I learnt about heic format and had to convert them - learning never ends.
