2022 Germania 1 oz Silver Round BU
Round Highlights:
- Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine Silver.
- Limited mintage of only 25,000.
- Fourth release of the Germania Mint bullion round series.
- Rounds are Brilliant Uncirculated condition and delivered in capsule with COA.
- Obverse: Features Germania, clad in armor and a gown swayed by the sea air, confidently striding onto the mainland with her characteristic strength and self-assurance. She is the first to bravely explore the new territories in which she has brought her loyal people. The double-headed eagle, her loyal companion, warns of the danger that approaches from afar.
- Reverse: Showcases the Germania Mint coat of arms with a two-headed eagle holding lightning bolts and olive branches, as was done since its introduction. The eagle is a symbol of strength and determination, originating from Germanic mythology and connected to Janus – the god of beginnings, gatekeepers and treaties.
Germania, wearing a laurel wreath on her head, is in armor but a skirt that is soft and moves with the sea breeze!
Germania holds in her right hand the imperial sword Reichsschwert and the shield on the other. With her is the double-headed eagle which warns of the danger nearby.
In the reverse design is the seal of the Germania Mint. It is double-headed eagle, also known as the bicephalous eagle.
This silver round is the continuation of the previous year wherein the perspective of the obverse opens up with each successive coin of the series.
