Most of the time, I walk around the block of homes in the contemporary area of town. The homes here are modest and occupied by young families that have school-age children.
Did I tell you already that my home was one of the first to be built in the area and the very first home on our block?
Anyway, the flowers in our neighborhood are in bloom... all over!
Every home is planted with flowers. It can be stunning!
To the right and left of the street are flowers... flowers everywhere you look!
There are red flowers, yellow floweres, white flowers, pink flowers...
Large flowers, medium flowers , small flowers... the bees, butterflies, and other insects have been busy!
I would say that most of the front yards are not 'landscaped gardens'. But walking through the streets here is wonderful! It puts a smile on your face!
In my case, I have one Tree Rose. It is pretty. I love this rose tree! It is called Double Delight, an All-America Rose Selections (AARS) Winner 1977.
It is the appropriate variety of rose
to be my sole rose plant.
