Walking around my farming field is always satisfying. I remember my Dad used to take a walk every morning and evening to measure the progress of the crops. Few month have already passed since we sowed the seeds this season. The crop has comes up nicely and now it is its time to ripe. The green field has slowly turning yellow indicating that the harvesting time is nearby. I too took a walk now and then just to check the water level and also removing weeds. I went there again after a gap of few weeks and seeing crops growing really made me happy.

A farming field offers a unique balance of solitude without loneliness. Because the land is managed and structured, it feels safe and predictable, allowing us to let our guard down completely and enjoy the quietness. Many farmers experience a quiet, reflective satisfaction in witnessing the natural life cycle unfold right before their eyes. I am not different. Lately I develop a liking for seeing my paddy grow properly. My field is slowly progressing towards ripening stage. The entire field shifts from green to a rich, glowing golden yellow. The grains started to get dry. This time it came too quickly or the month passed toast this season.

Watching a sea of golden paddy is the physical proof of months of grueling labor, early mornings, soil preparation, watering, and constant monitoring from seed to stalk. Not all fields turned golden. There are few fields still looks green. The entire area looks vibrant with Golden and Green looks. I find peace in middle of nowhere.

Farming is tough job and need a lot of patience to see the crops growing. It require conti ous watch over the soil, water and insecticides to get a proper yield. This year we have an adequate rain and would expect a good harvest. The patience game still continue for us, as aome of the crops still hanging in the field. It will take approa 30 days to see them turning golden.

My field has some unwanted guest too. This is the first time I noticed them. There were some unwanted weeds and insects hanging around the grains. But they were adding a different touch to my field.

Paddy fields offer a rich blend of visual, sensory, and cultural beauty that changes with the seasons and the time of day. My time in the field were spent nicely. The gentle rustling of rice leaves, the whisper of the wind, and distant rural sounds create a quiet, meditative atmosphere. And I enjoyed every seconds spent in there.
In good faith - Peace!!
