I don't quite remember the last time I typed a question into Google's search bar. Maybe a year ago, maybe longer. The truth is, I have done a complete transition to AI chatbots for all my information needs, and I'm never looking back.

Do you remember those times of trawling through endless search results, jumping from site to site, trying to piece together the information you needed? That's ancient history now. My go-to search method these days is much more straightforward. I simply open WhatsApp and have a chat with Meta AI, or open ChatGPT.

The transition happened so naturally that I barely noticed. I just one day realized that all the apps that I use daily now have their own AI chatbots. WhatsApp has Meta AI incorporated into its system so seamlessly. X (the new Twitter) has developed its own AI. Even Google, as if sensing this changing of guard, has added AI answers to its search results.

The beauty of AI chatbots is how easy and efficient they are. Instead of needing to scour multiple sites and cross-reference information, I get comprehensive answers in one go. The responses are concise, direct, and most importantly, conversational. It feels like talking to an expert friend rather than needing to sift through a list of blue links.

What makes these AI chatbots stand out in my mind is that they can have follow - up conversations. So if I want more clarity or want to go into a topic more in depth, I could ask for more and the AI would take what information it has from our conversation and add to it as we continue our discussion. This give-and-take is something the legacy search engines could never offer.

The accuracy and reliability of these AI responses have been nothing short of astounding. They are drawing on huge databases of information, giving well-balanced replies that extend beyond what I could possibly accrue through conventional searching. The days of multiple open browser tabs and comparing sources are behind us now.

The convenience aspect cannot be overstated. Whether I'm using WhatsApp's Meta AI when I'm already engaged in a conversation or visiting ChatGPT for more detailed research, the information is never more than a message away. When I get to an item I 'll no longer have to explore pages, deal with pop - ups or stumble across irrelevant material.

This change is more than just one small shift in how we look for information. It is a fundamental change in how we interact with technology. With AI chatbots information access is becoming more natural, more conversational and more efficient than ever..

If I consider my personal experience, I can confidently state that traditional search engines are becoming increasingly outdated. The future of information searching lies in these intelligent, conversational AI models that understand context, provide complete responses, and learn with our requirements.

To those who are still utilizing old-fashioned search engines, I encourage you to give AI chatbots a shot. Start with the AI assistant in your favorite messaging app. You might, like me, wonder why you spent so much time Googling in the first place.

The era of old-school search engines is passing, and I, for one, am embracing this new era of AI-powered access to information. It is no longer a matter of simply receiving answers, it is a matter of engaging in intelligent conversation that leads to higher levels of understanding. And that is something no old-school search engine could ever possibly provide.
