Hello Hives,
Sometimes I honestly wonder who decided that once you become an adult, you are supposed to know how to do everything. 😂
There are so many things we are expected to understand just because we have grown up. You should know how to handle money, take care of the house, solve problems, make the right decisions and somehow always know what to do when something goes wrong.

But the truth is, I am still figuring out some of these things myself.
One good example is fixing things around the house. As a plumber, you would probably expect me to say that I know how to fix anything. Well, I wish it was that simple. 😂
I have been doing plumbing work for a while now, and experience has taught me a lot, but there are still times when I come across a problem that makes me stop and look at it properly before touching anything.
Sometimes I think a job will be very easy. Then I start working and discover that the problem is not what I thought it was. That is when I have to slow down and think of another way to approach it.
And trust me, there are moments when you can just stand there looking at the problem and say to yourself, “So how are we going to solve this one?” 😂
What I have learnt from experiences like this is that there is nothing wrong with not knowing everything.
If I don't understand something, I try to find out. If I need to ask someone who has more experience, I ask. And if my first idea doesn't work, I try another one.
I think that is actually part of being an adult.
We are all learning as we go. Nobody gave us a complete manual for life. One day you are dealing with work, another day it is family responsibilities, bills, repairs or some completely unexpected problem.
Sometimes you handle it well. Sometimes you make mistakes. Sometimes you laugh about the situation afterwards.
For me, the important thing is not to pretend that I know everything. I would rather admit that I don't know something and learn how to handle it than make things worse because I was trying to prove that I knew what I was doing.
So, if there is one thing adulthood has taught me, it is that being an adult doesn't mean you have everything figured out. It means you keep learning and finding your way whenever life throws something at you.
And honestly, I am still figuring this adulting thing out, one problem at a time. 😄
Thanks for Reading
