Continuing my journey through the coastal area of Caigüire, I invite you to join me for a short walk along the seashore. On the day of my visit, several fishermen were returning from their work; in the photograph, you can see a number of boats that have just come back from a fishing trip. From this spot, you can see several stone walkways that form a small pier for the fishing boats—some even serve as a path for those who wish to take in the beautiful seascape.
Without delay, I headed toward one of these piers, where I was able to take in the incredible views this part of the city has to offer. In the distance, you can see the Araya Peninsula set against a beautiful blue sky with just a few clouds. At that hour, the sea had gentle waves, and what I loved most was the signature blue hue that characterizes these beaches. Moving along, I positioned myself beneath a mangrove tree, next to which sat a lovely white-and-red boat—mangroves are a common sight along this stretch of the city’s coastline. From there, the view of the sea with the Araya Peninsula in the background creates a stunning landscape, truly worth admiring.

The beach views along this stretch are truly beautiful; the water takes on a lovely shade of blue, and the sand is soft and soothing. Along the shoreline, you’ll find various mangrove plants, as well as rocks and driftwood—perfect spots to sit, enjoy the breeze, and take in the stunning scenery. From the national highway, you can see several buildings and the full extent of this beautiful coastal stretch. From here, you can head toward the monument—a pleasant route for a bit of exercise, where you can go for a walk or take in the view from the lookout point.
As I moved along, a beautiful blue boat resting on the sea caught my eye. There was very little breeze at the time, and the boat was barely swayed by the waves.
