There are days when I long to go back — not to change anything,
but simply to sit at the edge of time and hear to the voice of nonage.

We formerly ran through playgrounds for no reason 🛝
watched chalk dust come bitsy snowflakes ❄️
and tasted orange soda pop on a rustic table 🧡

Those days...
so simple, yet now they feel like magic.

Poem: A Letter of Congratulations

A bug's whisper landed
on the tip of a paper plane ✈️
we folded our hopes into its wings
and let it soar into an unnamed sky.

We drew running lanes in playground dust,
and though the lines have long since faded,
their trace remains
in the memory that time couldn’t erase.

The school desk,
the chalk dust,
the whispering phoenix leaves—
they all come alive when I close my eyes 🌿

That orange soda fizz—
like laughter floating
in the warmth of an endless summer.
And those little promises
we didn’t understand, yet believed with all our hearts.

Now, time walks a little slower ⏳
Streetlights stretch our shadows
into silhouettes made to last forever.

And though the world has taken us to different places,
all I want today is this:
to hold a pen ✍️
dip it in the sunlight ☀️
and write a poem
for you.

For us.
For the memories that never really left.

A Final Word

If you're reading this,
consider it a quiet congratulations
for making it this far.

May you always be surrounded by love ❤️
and accompanied by the small beauties of life.

When the wind hums through fading melodies…
receive my love—
the kind that has lasted
through all these years.

Thank you for being here.
If this poem touched you, share it.
You never know who might need a letter from the past.
