Hello weekenders, it's been a long time since I joined the weekly challenge in this community. Okay, let's go back to telling something interesting. This time I like the second point of this challenge. That is:

If you had the choice of spending $ 50 USD on books or clothing for yourself which would you choose and why?

And here is what I choose!

If I had the choice of spending $ 50 USD, of course, I would spend on books. It's not a big deal. The main reason why I chose the book over the clothes is because I am a minimalist lifestyle follower, so I don't like to keep a lot of clothes in my closet. The second one might be a bit cliche if I say I like to read because everyone should like to read as a self-intake. If you feel you need to eat to stay alive, so is reading, you also have to read a lot of books for long-term interests. So who doesn't like to read? So of course I will choose to spend money to buy books, especially if I get the money from someone as a gift.

A few days ago there was an Indonesia International Book Fair event. I bought some books that will give me very useful insights. They are English textbooks and a self-improvement book. For fiction I am quite picky now, so I don't read just any fiction even though the fiction book is on sale.

When I wrote this Challenge, I was at the Orchard Library in Singapore. This is a lovely library that is very beautiful, architecturally, minimalist in design and very quiet. I love being at the Orchard Library. If my visit wasn't short, I might have spent the whole day reading and writing some post here. So yeah, if I have to choose between something and a book, I will choose a book. Nothing can beat the book.

So how about you?

Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...
