Yes, it's my birthday today. Happy Birthday to me.
I can no more say 18 plus. I now have to say 50 plus 🤣🤣🤣.
Yes, born in seventies, when internet was just a myth.
Had to carry and read physical books, visit libraries and bear the paper cuts.
A very different world i guess. Now everything is on finger tips. Well connected and digital.
Now, if i need any information or want something done i just need to ask AI. Search engines are also very sofisticated.
I remember the Black and white TV days, where there was no remote and i had to get up everytime to change the channel or increase/decrease the volume.
Accessing internet was frustrating in those days. I am sure many readers have used a dial-up connection via modem. The screeching sound it made when it connected. And the time it took to download a single picture.
Now, you can watch complete movies without even downloading it. Streaming has come a long way.
Personal computers have also come a long way too.
My first mobile phone was nokia 3310 with an antenna, very bulky. Today, i use iphone 16.
I love and appreciate the improvements in the technology.
I don't think i can live without my phone, whatsapp or streaming apps.
Progress and adaption is the way forward. But, relying completely on it is not healthy though.
Any old timers, who remember those days, do comment below....
PS: Old timers is just an expression, we are still young 🤣🤣
