Gavin wood who is the co-founder of the crypto Polkadot has just resigned from the position of CEO of the blockchain infrastructure of the company Parity, which is a decentralized infrastructure.
Gavin Wood's position will be filled by Björn Wagner, another co-founder of Parity. Now, Parity is an important part of the Polkadot blockchain system. But it should be noted that Wood will remain one of the main shareholders of the parity
Gavin Wood mentions the following:
“The role of CEO has never been one which I have coveted (and this dates back long before Parity). Anyone who has worked with me knows where my heart lies. I’m a thinker, coder, designer and architect. Like many such people, I work best asynchronously.”
Wood also said that he spent a great deal of time supervising the equipment of the C-suite that belongs to the company.
It is also worth mentioning that Gavin Wood is also a co-founder of Ethereum and among other of his great works he highlights that he is the creator of the Kusama network
It is worth mentioning that the Parity company was created as EthCore at the end of 2015, Wood joined as co-founder a year after the creation of Parity, by then the roles they had were quite flexible.
