It has been a roller coaster ride in crypto industry! We are continuing to be in the winter season for several months. It has been such a pleasure to witness this ups and downs of crypto market. Made me realize few facts which were pretty unknown to me, when there was a presence of bull's in my portfolio! Whatever happens, regardless of the bulls or bears the acknowledgement of opportunities was realized! There is always something awaiting for us to attain from such situations. Although, it might depend on the situations right in front of us.
After watching some bulls in my crypto journey, there were certain feelings which thrilled me from within! As a matter of fact, I felt the pleasure of being a person who owns thousands of dollars worth of assets in my account. Honestly, those times were magical! I can not express those in words. Whenever bulls hit the market its like every asset holders feels like as if they are steroids. The account worth rises, SL assets goes over the roofs and altcoin portfolio just sky rockets. Those moments are worth staying in crypto.

If you have survived a bull run you might be aware of what I am talking about. While there are few lessons which I was able to learn in the last bull run. I am not sure whether they were perfect for me or not but it has been a mixed feelings for myself. While I am glad those really happened with me. For starters the very first bull which I witnessed I was just a spectator who was just watching others portfolios going up and down. It might have been little down for myself but just being there and witness people claiming their portfolios has gone double or triple, it was something new for me. But it was a very good lesson to be attained.
Whatever goes up, eventually comes down!
The very lesson, which I was able to miss in the last bull. I remember my portfolio going above and beyond and I finally understood about the feeling of those people who once shared their experience with me about their portfolios being doubled or tripled. But these feeling eventually just wears off. Because if we can not use those efforts and make the right decisions during those moments, we just become spectators of those moments. Although, I was fully prepared in the last bull but yet I was not able to utilize those moments as wisely as I thought. Few tasks that I would like to do in the next bull :
- Take profits
- Have enough stables which will come in handy during bears
- Don't be GREEDY
- Do not invest the money that you cannot afford to loose
- Do not invest in coins when they are at peak
- Take rational decisions
- Be wise
During bears people go crazy! Yes, I do not see why they would not! As the situation is kind of that! Even I loosing thousands of dollars in front of my eyes is devastating. I can understand how NEWBIES might feel! Some people invested their life savings during the bulls and now in bears they are seeing their portfolio coming down, its heart breaking. But now I can finally relate to the fact about, "how millionaires are made during bears!"
BUY LOW, SELL HIGH!
Yes, DCA is one of the best ways to minimize the loss during bears. I have been doing that and this way we can maximize the results from our side. Like I stated above about accumulating stables during the bulls is best because of this sort of situations. Whenever bears hits the streets, we get to see the real value of these assets which were kept at safe. In present situation lets say about your favorite coins, almost every coin in crypto market is at sale right now. If I had enough stables I would have jumped into all of them and just wait until these bears are taken care of. Ask those crypto whales about their mojo! I suppose you will get the answer!
Every situation will turn over! Because, we all want money and be free at the same time. Blockchain and crypto is providing that! Which is why, adoption will happen of crypto. Yes, its taking a long time. But at the end of the day those who are not panicking instead filling their bags, they will have the last laugh when the market turns its face from bears to BULLS. I am just waiting for that as we speak.
The things that could be done during bears :
- Can not panic, instead think wisely
- Do not sell! I am already at a loss, no point in selling atm
- Buying coins which has potential!
- Invest slowly! Who knows where the bears will keep on going!
- DCA!
- For HIVE users, do what you do best! Create content, power up, save HIVE/HBD and just chill and keep on engaging with other HIVE users. We have this amazing community. Even in bears you will find plenty of users who shares your mind and thought. So you are not alone. Hive is such a place where the situation does not matters! May that it be bull or bears we are here and we will be there. As there is a long way to go. We have just began our journey in HIVE! Do not forget that!
