I sometimes wonder why some entrepreneurs do not know the worth of a client until they lose them or no longer have access to them. In the place of sale, there is always a lot of competition, which we all need to face to get our daily activities done and make a profit. This can never be achieved if we are cruel in the way we relate to people.

The fact that you are a business owner with a lot of clients who patronize you does not mean you should not regard them, as they still pay you the money you depend on. It is never possible for one to set up a business and expect it to yield profit without marketing it to people to buy. The more people come to buy from it, the more profit you earn from the business.
Yesterday, I was actually going out to get a dry cell battery from a store. Due to the nature of my work, I use batteries for my mouse, so I end up buying batteries frequently. But before I got to the stage of buying this battery from the store I was sent to, I was advised by a friend to change the type of battery I was using due to its inability to last for a longer period.
They told me about a store close by and recommended the type to buy. I went there with the aim of buying at a lesser price, but when I got there, the price I was told was too exorbitant. I could not go back again because I had no other choice; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to use it. The most painful part of this was that there was no good customer relations. I tried persuading the seller to at least cut down the price to a more bearable amount, but he refused.
After buying, I headed home, and along the way, I saw another store by the roadside. I stopped to ask if they had the same thing I wanted to buy. Lo and behold, it was there. I was happy and decided to act like I was buying to see if the initial price was the same. It was brought out, and I asked for the price; it was 100% lower compared to where I bought it first.
On hearing the price, I asked the woman selling if there was another type of battery I could get, and she told me that the one I got was what I needed and at the same price. I was so frustrated and annoyed because I had spent more than enough at the first store, even after begging. I got enough from the second store, and I was very happy I didn't spend more money to buy more than the quantity I asked for.
As an entrepreneur, we need to know that there are some strategies we need to inculcate in our daily finances because little changes can alter our rate of earning from a business. Treating people with love and care will make you earn the respect you want and also bring you more clients to patronize you.
In conclusion, Due to the way he treated me, I never planned on going back to his place to buy anything, and I believe this has made him lose a customer. Some of my friends around when the incident happened won't want to patronize this business again because of the exorbitant prices that were placed on their commodities. Never allow the gain you are seeking in whatever business you do get to you so that you won't be having the thoughts of your customers in mind.
They own your business as much as you do yourself; they are the ones that go out to get money for you to be able to sell whatever it is you are selling as an entrepreneur. If you do not want to make money in the first place, you wouldn't have set up an investment. Treat people with care and caution because every customer in a business counts, so does the money invested in your business count too. Always remain positive and give positive energy to people anytime.
