After giving away a walking liberty half dollar the other day I got the itch to give another away.

I had to do something to sweeten the pot on the NFL sweepstakes so I gave away some silver. I have a small collection of these half dollars and they are all in the same shape, well used!

Here are a couple more that represent the shape of the whole collection:

Nice coins, but not worth more than melt value. The average silver weight of this coin is 0.3617oz, so multiply that by the current spot price of silver ($28.29) and you end up with a value of $10.27 usd.

These are nice coins and high on a lot of people list of favorite coins, another reason I enjoy giving them away :)

So, I wanted to have some sort of contest to give another away, not just a raffle but something fun. I was thinking back to the wild west days of Steem and all the various giveaways and contests that were held, and I wanted to do something like that.

However, for that to work there needs to be a decent amount of folks participating, and that's just not the case here anymore. It's fine, things change, and I had an idea...

I headed over to the SGS discord with the contest already in mind, but I said this...
