A cousin of mine, living in a distant city, by car it's 3 days away from us, (I haven't seen him in years,) has collapsed and was sent to an ambulance/emergency hospital.

We only know because the doctors were told to contact his brother for approval for the emergency operation he needed to survive. His neighbours paid the expenses for now, but his brother is collecting money to pay them back.

I'm worried, but I'd thought I'd be even more distressed than this... Maybe it doesn't feel real to me yet, or maybe he's not one of the cousins I spent my childhood with...

Hope he survives this...
