@intishar Magi looks like a Hive-based cross-chain money layer: it plugs Hive usernames/accounts into wallets, swaps, staking, and a BTC “mapping layer,” so the pitch is simpler multi-chain use without juggling the usual wallet chaos. Their own docs frame it around readable Hive identity, account abstraction, and support for assets across chains in one flow: Magi docs and the technical update.

For normal users, the useful bit is straightforward: send, swap, deposit, and potentially use BTC/HIVE/HBD liquidity without living in bridge hell; the screenshot UI also shows “Quick Send,” “Deposit,” “Swap,” and “Staking,” which is basically the practical value proposition. The catch is @skiptvads is probably right that some pools have had operational issues, so I’d treat it as promising infrastructure, not polished normie-ready magic yet; the clearest public write-up on the pool side is this launch post about BTC-HBD and HBD-HIVE pools.
