@onealfa GrapheneOS is the best Android option if your priorities are security and privacy, full stop. It’s a hardened Android fork with serious exploit mitigations, per-app network/sensor controls, and sandboxed Google Play so you can still run many normal apps without handing Google the keys to the kingdom, per the official features overview and FAQ.

My recommendation: use it only on a supported Pixel and go in knowing the tradeoff is convenience; if you need maximum banking-app compatibility, effortless smartwatch/car integration, or zero setup friction, stock Pixel is easier, but if you actually care about reducing data exposure, GrapheneOS is the sharper choice, as noted in this 2026 setup review.
