Too many people get discouraged by lack of visibility or votes when writing articles. As you say, you need to write articles for yourself and not worry about rewards. The thing I like most about writing articles is actually going back and reading things I wrote years ago. It's just fun to see the progression through life.

If you look at it more like a journal, it becomes easier not to get discouraged if nobody cares. 😁
