1/🧵 When you face rulesets that cannot favor you in battle and just add an extra layer of damage for melee units. In a recent battle, I encountered Briar Patch + Up Close & Personal rulesets together, it was quite tough to put any other unit except Melee monsters.

So, what I did was quite interesting, I demoralized all enemy units with Disintegrator and put a Shield monster as a tank, enemy melee unit could not even do any damage to Mycelic Infantry instead they took Thorns damage.

But, I also destroyed their major melee unit Cursed Windeku using Fabino's tactics, Fabino poisoned him and he died slowly within 5 rounds.
