Netflix is dropping a Man on Fire series on April 30th 2026 and people online are already calling it the new Reacher for the platform, and look I get the comparison but I need to see the casting first because Denzel Washington made that role feel like something personal and not just an action movie character, the whole story of a broken bodyguard going after the people who hurt the ones he was supposed to protect is such a raw setup when done right, I just hope they do not soften it up for a streaming audience because this story needs to be gritty to work, I am curious but cautious.
