There is no exact current figure for the total number of doctors and engineers with a migration background in Poland, but data from 2019 indicated that the share of foreign-trained physicians was only 2.1%. More broadly, 999,800 foreigners were employed in Poland as of January 2024, with foreigners in the workforce making up 6.5% of the total workforce, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
