Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week again it's the rebellion theme challenge and as we discussed in last week's post we shall continue with it in this post as well.

The presale for this set of cards, or the rebellion packs started on the 18th of October and it is still active until all the packs are bought from the market. As of the time I was writing this article, the remaining rebellion packs were 206,169 Packs which can be seen from the screenshot shared below.

It can be observed that more than half of the released packs have been bought. We await to see if all the packs will be bought before the 30 days are over or not, and as of now, it is left with 15 days, which is like 2 weeks to go for the presale to be over and the rebellion sets launched into the Splinterlands gaming.

As I said in my previous posts, I have the aim to purchase at least 10 or more of the presale packs, and last week I had 4 packs, this week I bought two more of the packs and finally holding 6 rebellion packs at the moment. Gradually, I am advancing towards my goal set for this presale pack.

In my previous posts, I have discussed the abilities of this new set of cards and I am hoping to have more of these cards to enjoy the new strategic abilities that they will be coming with. These abilities include; Armored Strike, Corrosive Ward, Flank, and Lookout, and previously we have looked at their functions so I won't talk much here in this article. We can see the image of the various abilities here in this article.

One amazing thing I love about the rebellion packs is the fact that they will be coming along with their own unique summoners that will have unique abilities or strategies. It also gives players the chance to choose between two kinds of debuffs or buffs and the decision of selection can be done by the player even after the teams-lineup are revealed, wow that is going to be interesting indeed, I can't wait to see how this works.

Rebellion set of will contain 96 different cards altogether and in the modern format they will replace that of the untamed cards in the battle and that is the first time such a swap will be done in this game.

Purchasing a rebellion pack is quite easy to do and there is a 20% discount rate when you purchase with a VOUCHER.

Under normal circumstances, a pack is 5000 credits or DEC. If you have a voucher, 5 will take in place of 1000 DEC/Credits. The discount is 20% for using a Voucher in the payment method.

It has also been said that the first 250 people on the leaderboard after the presale is over will be given the following status in the game.

Position 1 - 30 - "The Dawnbringer" Legendary Title
Position 31 - 100 - "The Defiant" Epic Title
Position 101 - 250 - "The Rebel" Rare Title

Mind you, there are some good bonus monsters that can earned through airdrop for purchasing a certain amount of the rebellion packs. These two monsters are the MANTAROTH and the GRIMBARDN SMITH monsters. In order to get the Grimbardn Smith monster airdrop, one must hold ten (10) or more rebellion packs in order to mint that. Similarly, in order to mint the Mantaroth monster, one must hold 100 or more rebellion packs in order to mint that as well.

One major change added again to the presale of packs is the airdrop conflict where users will have to stake the unopened rebellion packs in order to join this airdrop. If you are lucky, you will receive some packs as airdrop, so we all can give it a try.

This is the little information I can share as far as the rebellion packs are concerned, you can also check the link here and read more about it.
