Eran gemelas, por fuera lucían idénticas y en su niñez las vestían igual, pero a medida que fueron creciendo, se hizo evidente, cuan diferentes eran en muchos aspectos, por ejemplo a una le gustaba el rosa, a la otra el negro, una era carnívora, la otra vegetariana, a una no les gustaban los animales, la otra era activista animal.
Estas diferencias no fueron manejadas muy bien por sus padres, quienes tal vez no tuvieron la suficiente inteligencia o diligencia para enseñarles a sus hijas que el respeto por las creencias ajenas, la tolerancia y la empatiza son necesarias, que nuestros valores y creencias no son los únicos y que esto no implica una enemistad.
Así crecieron Mia y Ava, muy poco se les vio jugar juntas, no parecían hermanas armoniosas, de esas que compartieran, como comúnmente se ve en los hermanos, una le gustaba la popularidad vestir a la moda y de marcas reconocidas, la otra era todo lo contrario, de esa manera continuaron creciendo hasta que el abismo se hizo más grande tras la muerte de sus padres, quienes parecían ser lo único que tenían en común.
Pasaron algunos años y esta separación entre hermanas parecía reflejar la realidad de su país y justo después de sus respectivas graduaciones universitarias estallo una guerra civil, hermano contra hermano, unos apoyaban el que la agricultura debía manejarse de la manera más natural y orgánica, tratando a los animales con dignidad y los mejores cuidados posibles, los otros querían automatizar todo, aplicar métodos más crueles en cuanto a la crianza animal y cada uno se afianzó en su punto y estallo una guerra por falta de diálogo, de acuerdos, de reconocimientos de la otra parte.
En cada uno de los bandos estaba una de estas hermanas, Mía al ser consumista quería todo de calidad, de marca sin importarle el sufrimiento animal o la cantidad de pesticidas que pudiera estar consumiendo, además consideraba a los que no tenían un estilo de vida similar al suyo o los que no se inclinaran por el mismo estilo de vida y gustos eran inferiores y que solo debían ser personas sometidas a otros.
Por su parte, Ava quería acabar con toda la crueldad animal, y que las leyes obligaran a todos a volverse vegetarianos, y quien no estuviera de acuerdo, pues debía ser obligado y reeducado.
Mientras más pasaban los días más inflexibles se volvían los partidarios de cada bando, el país que habitaban estaba cada vez más destrozado y las personas más radicalizadas, todos se volvieron ciegos y sordos no veían el daño que le estaban causando a su país, hasta que alguien con suficiente sentido común alzo la voz.
Una mujer llamada Galatea comenzó una serie de discursos en los que llamaba a la empatía, al entendimiento y tolerancia, todo ello por medio de la diplomacia, no fue fácil, pero logro que ambas partes se sentaran, que lograran ver como respetables las opiniones de sus contarios y además a comprender que su visión no es la única, puede haber otras, que la guerra y desprecio por el otro no es la solución, solo con trabajo y sensibilización lograrían volver a ser hermanos y comprenderse tolerando sus diferentes puntos de vista.
Después de años de lucha y de comprender lo valiosa que es la familia y tras ver a muchos de sus compañeros apoyase en ellas y sufrir por las pérdidas de las mismas, Mia y Ava se reconciliaron y comprendieron que debían aceptarse como eran, tolerarse y suavizar sus radicales puntos de vista, así ambas trabajaron junto a Galatea, para que su país nunca más viera una guerra.

They were twins, on the outside they looked identical and in their childhood they were dressed alike, but as they grew up, it became evident how different they were in many ways, for example one liked pink, the other black, one was a carnivore, the other a vegetarian, one disliked animals, the other an animal activist.
These differences were not handled very well by their parents, who perhaps did not have enough intelligence or diligence to teach their daughters that respect for the beliefs of others, tolerance and empathy are necessary, that our values and beliefs are not the only ones and that this does not imply enmity.
That is how Mia and Ava grew up, very little was seen playing together, they did not seem harmonious sisters, of those who shared, as commonly seen in siblings, one liked the popularity dress fashionable and recognized brands, the other was the opposite, in this way continued to grow until the gap became larger after the death of their parents, who seemed to be the only thing they had in common.
Some years passed and this separation between sisters seemed to reflect the reality of their country and just after their respective university graduations a civil war broke out, brother against brother, some supported that agriculture should be managed in the most natural and organic way, treating the animals with dignity and the best possible care, the others wanted to automate everything, apply crueler methods in terms of animal husbandry and each one was entrenched in their point and a war broke out for lack of dialogue, agreements, recognition of the other side.
In each of the sides was one of these sisters, Mia being a consumerist wanted everything of quality, branded without caring about animal suffering or the amount of pesticides that could be consuming, also considered those who did not have a lifestyle similar to hers or those who were not inclined to the same lifestyle and tastes were inferior and should only be people subjected to others.
For her part, Ava wanted to put an end to all animal cruelty, and that the laws should force everyone to become vegetarian, and whoever did not agree, well, should be forced and re-educated.
The more the days went by the more inflexible the supporters of each side became, the country they inhabited was increasingly destroyed and the people more radicalized, everyone became blind and deaf, they did not see the damage they were causing to their country, until someone with enough common sense raised his voice.
A woman named Galatea began a series of speeches in which she called for empathy, understanding and tolerance, all through diplomacy, it was not easy, but she managed to get both sides to sit down, to see as respectable the opinions of their opponents and also to understand that their vision is not the only one, there may be others, that war and contempt for the other is not the solution, only with work and awareness they would manage to become brothers again and understand each other tolerating their different points of view.
After years of struggle and understanding how valuable the family is and after seeing many of their companions support them and suffer for their losses, Mia and Ava reconciled and understood that they had to accept each other as they were, tolerate each other and soften their radical points of view, so both worked together with Galatea, so that their country would never again see a war.
