Todos los que tenemos un flechazo por la tecnología o tenemos un setup, ya sea por pasión, trabajo o porque simplemente nos place, disfrutamos buscando productos que puedan sernos útiles en estos espacios o que puedan enriquecerlos.
Así, buscando mejorar mi setup y en vista de que mi anterior teclado mecánico se dañó, no sé si sería un tema de calidad o de uso, pues debo confesar que tecleo muy fuerte, me decidí a comprarme un nuevo teclado mecánico. Además, también aproveché que me llegó una tarjeta de crédito de las que ahora hay en alianzas con diferentes tiendas de tecnología y decidí darle uso y así darme un gusto.
Ahora bien, teniendo ya experiencia con la marca Redragon, opté por comprar otro modelo de los que la marca ofrece y aquí les presento mi nuevo teclado mecánico, el Dragonborn (K630 Dragonborn).
Este es un teclado mecánico 60%, es decir, compacto, lo que lo hace portátil; en mi caso, los switches son Redragon red (rojos), ya que varían de acuerdo a la región, y su cable es desmontable, USB tipo C en forma de L.
Por otro lado, decidí adquirirlo en su presentación en negro; también lo hay en blanco, pero para ser sincera, aunque veo hermosos los teclados blancos, me da algo de temor lo sucio que se podrían poner con el uso; tal vez más adelante me aventure a comprar uno en este color, la verdad me tienta.
En cuanto a la marca del teclado, como ya lo mencioné, tengo una experiencia anterior con el teclado Redragon Harpe Pro; el mismo tiene tres años conmigo, del cual compartí este unboxing y no tengo quejas. Lo único que logré, digamos que afectar, fue el grabado de dos de sus teclas (E y A) las borré, sí lo logré, primero porque son de las letras que más se usan y segundo, las toco con las uñas, pero el resto del teclado está en perfecto estado de funcionamiento, por lo que no dudé para adquirir otro de la misma marca, ya que me parece que ofrecen una excelente la relación precio-valor.

En cuanto a precio, su costo fue de 50 $ (me dieron un descuento de 10 % por comprar con la Tarjeta de Crédito BNC - SoyTechno). Respecto al contenido de la caja, además del teclado y su cable, se incorporan el manual de usuario, el extractor de keycaps, el extractor de switches y cuatro switches de repuesto.
Para terminar, les confieso que me estoy adaptando; este es mi primer teclado 60%, ya que prefiero los 100 %, o en su defecto los 75 u 80%, es decir, los que tienen las teclas de flechas y Fn, pero es hora de aventurarse y probar otras cosas. Además, este teclado lo adquirí para utilizarlo con mi laptop, así que mientras más compacto, mejor, ya que, si era muy grande, me restaría espacio para apoyarme o para tener más cerca el mouse.

So, looking to improve my setup—and since my previous mechanical keyboard broke (I’m not sure if it was a quality issue or just wear and tear, since I have to admit I type very hard)—I decided to buy a new mechanical keyboard. I also took advantage of a credit card I’d received—one of those now offered in partnership with various tech stores—and decided to put it to use and treat myself.
Now, having already had experience with the Redragon brand, I chose to buy another model from their lineup, and here I present my new mechanical keyboard, the Dragonborn (K630 Dragonborn).
This is a 60% mechanical keyboard—in other words, it’s compact, which makes it portable. In my case, it has Redragon Red switches (red), since they vary by region, and it has a detachable, L-shaped USB-C cable.
On the other hand, I decided to get the black version; it’s also available in white, but to be honest, even though I think white keyboards are beautiful, I’m a little worried about how dirty they might get with use; maybe later on I’ll take the plunge and buy one in that color—I’m actually tempted.
As for the keyboard brand, as I mentioned earlier, I’ve had previous experience with the Redragon Harpe Pro keyboard; I’ve had it for three years now—I shared this unboxing of it—and I have no complaints. The only thing I managed to—let’s say—damage was the lettering on two of its keys (E and A); I wore them off. I did that, first because they’re among the most frequently used letters, and second, because I type them with my fingernails. But the rest of the keyboard is in perfect working order, so I didn’t hesitate to buy another one from the same brand, since I think they offer excellent value for the price.

Finally, I’ll admit that I’m still getting used to it; this is my first 60% keyboard, since I usually prefer 100% keyboards—or, failing that, 75% or 80% ones, meaning those with arrow keys and an Fn key—but it’s time to branch out and try something new. Also, I bought this keyboard to use with my laptop, so the more compact it is, the better—if it were too big, it would take up space I need to rest my hands or keep the mouse closer.
