The season we are currently experiencing here in my country is the rainy season and I can say it's the most unique season ever over here.
Been unique doesn't necessarily mean it carries only the positive side but it also carries the negative side of which no other season could have made to happen and that's where the uniqueness lies.
Every farmer here that are into agriculture (planting), always look forward to this season to be able to have a good farm produce when the harvesting period comes.
Rain came late last year and was not even much which made it affect the farmers as different complaints were going up and down. I got to know about this because my dad also venture into agriculture in a very mini way in his small garden.
I love rainy season due to the cool weather it brings since I hate heat so much. I prefer putting on a hoodie, or cardigan when feeling too much cold than raising a hand of handfan to assist myself in getting breeze to clear off heat and at times, I almost feel dizzy when it gets too much..
The only thing I don't like about the rainy season is how it starts so suddenly at times with no clue of a change in weather, the wind it comes along with at times which ends up destroying properties (which I am experiencing the strong breeze right now like my roof is about to drop), the fact that I have to step into water while walking (especially in our little or no drainage community where flooding becomes the next visitor after a heavy rainpour).
I can't have a free walk because I would be careful of not staining my clothes and then you have to be mindful of the kind of clothes you put on especially in terms of colour. You don't want to put on white and some reckless and restless drivers splash water on you.
I once experienced that and it wasn't funny and infact, I was far away from home to go back for a change of outfit.
Rainy season is the best season for me in terms of weather and for the farmers but then, it still causes me to rebrand my lifestyle while the season last.
