We're presently in a world and era where we now judge our efforts based on others success especially when they flaunt it on the social media space and all we ever utter is "God when?* as if our own life processes are not yielding any positive result in any way.
People say this often that social media influences people in a bad way and is the cause of why people feel pressured due to all they see on there but I have always say it that no one will oppress you if you're not yourself's oppressor. Nothing will influence you if you're not ready to be influenced in the first place.
I am me and I am never pressured by anyone or anyone's success or level of achievement to judge mine. It's normal to contrast and reflect so you can level up your strategy or to see where you're probably getting it wrong but I'm never in the state to feel pressured and lead to the point where I have to fake it to live it.
I've seen ladies borrowing wears and accessories just to make people think they now live better especially when it has to do with reunion or posting online. They can only take pictures in a friend's house and not in their father's house that does not have a POP ceiling.
It's just like I do tell those who are close to me that I will only set priorities in my life based on what will make me happy and not because it is someone's desire or someone's accomplishments. I probably would have had a tour in many unwanted life journeys by now if I was the type to be pressured in living a life I dont have yet.
Until the day we learn to stay and focus on our own race and lane, the more we decide to look sideways at others race lane, the higher chances of our failure.
