In this video, I cover how we have less than 3 weeks of the Rebellion pack sale remaining before they are off the shelves forever. This equates to less than 500k packs remaining.
This means we will officially not hit our 1.5M original target that Matt has set out, which is disappointing. We are also getting close to not hitting the updated 1.2M target recently mentioned in a Town Hall.
That being said, there are a lot of exciting things happening in the Splinterlands ecosystem right now. The 2 promo sales - Legends and Auction - have overperformed expectations. We will have quite a bit to go on those as well so hopefully the momentum continues.
If by any chance we can sell another 200k packs, that would lock up an additional 400M DEC in the DAO which would certainly have an impact on the price of DEC as well as the rest of the game economy. That would mean we'd need to see sales pick up around the final week or so.
If not, hopefully Conclave Arcana will be able to put a significant dent into the DEC oversupply and start burning SPS to activate the flywheel. It seems so close!
