In this video, I respond to a comment my YouTube channel regarding whether or not it is the DAO's responsibility to keep DEC at peg. Now that all issuance of DEC only comes from SPS burning, and the DAO now controls that burning process, it is essentially acting as the central bank for both SPS and DEC. Therefore, the argument can be made that the DAO should not only be trying to drive value to SPS, but also trying to keep DEC as close to peg as possible. Since the DAO is recirculating DEC back into the ecosystem through the credits system, it does have an incentive to bring DEC closer to peg so that it doesn't release more tokens than it needs to.
