In this video, I discuss the recent update from Cryptomancer on land development and how DEC paid for building upgrades will actually be paid to the DAO (and therefore non-refundable compared to the other resources that will be needed). I think this great as starting concept as we want the DAO/team to be able to earn something off the development of land. Right now, there are so many costs associated with it - including just maintaining the servers - that the DAO/team are not even compensated on. By building this out as a way for the DAO to earn passively off the products it launches creates a much healthier feedback loop.
