77 - Finale, Clash of Beliefs
This is my final part of my Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Let's Play. In this session, I face the final series of bosses. The woman who works against the Runebarrows, Narungrade. The Dragon that the Empire created via rune lenses experiments. And the Dux Aldric himself as the final boss!
The Dragon fight was epic!
I love how many phases the fight was comprised of. By the end of it, we were fighting on flying boulders in the sky!
The fight against Aldric was just as epic as the Dragon fight.
What I like about Dux Aldric is how he's the perfect villain for a game like this. He talks like a misguided good guy. He's developing a way for normal people to gain the Rune Lenses' power. Yet, he's sacrificing actual people for his goal AND he's developing mass destruction weapons with such power.
He's not as misguided(?) a good guy as he believes himself to be, the Dux Aldric is just an outright villain!
After the battle, the game concludes by showing us what happens to all the characters. I went through the Normal Ending route, so I didn't get Nowa's sister as a recruitable character, and Perrille died in this route.
Not sure if I'll replay the game again to get the True Ending, so my Let's Play ends right here. I hope you had a good time watching it. Thank you very much!~
