Hello friends! How are you all? I wish you all a happy and prosperous life. Today, I am going to share a very familiar recipe with you: Crispy Chicken Fry.

Most of the time, we buy chicken fry at restaurants. It’s something almost everyone enjoys, especially when paired with fried rice or French fries. The first time I tried it at a restaurant, I wondered, "How do they make this?" I later tried making it at home; it didn't turn out perfect the first time, but I think I’ve managed to make it even better now. I will show you a very easy way to prepare it at home. I’ll also share some extra tips to help you achieve that perfect chicken fry—ensuring a crispy, crunchy outer layer while keeping the inside juicy and the meat cooked just right.

First, drain any excess water from the chicken pieces. Add the ginger-garlic paste, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt, then mix everything thoroughly.

Place the chicken in the refrigerator (main compartment) for about 2 hours to marinate properly; you can even leave it for up to 4 hours for better results.

Then, dip the chicken into the egg-yogurt mixture, ensuring it is completely coated (give it a good "bath" in the mixture! 😄😄).

Place the chicken back into the flour mixture and coat it once more. Shake off any excess flour—this is how the crispy layer is formed! 😉

Fry! Fry! Fry! 🍳

Heat some oil in a pan until it is moderately warm, then add the chicken pieces to fry.

Once the chicken turns a light red (golden-brown) color, remove it from the oil. Each batch of chicken will take approximately 6–7 minutes to fry.

Some tips:

● Marinate the chicken thoroughly; this helps keep the meat tender and juicy.

● Press the flour firmly onto the chicken pieces to create a crispy outer layer.

● Do not let the oil get too hot while frying.

● Avoid frying too many pieces at once, as this causes the oil temperature to drop.
