Yet, the core technology—the blockchain—proved remarkably resilient. Over the past decade, Bitcoin's narrative shifted from a alternative digital cash mechanism to a recognized global asset class—often dubbed "digital gold." Institutions that once dismissed it began allocating corporate reserves to Bitcoin, while exchange-traded funds brought the asset into mainstream retirement portfolios.
