Last night I was talking to a friend about corruption and how much it harms society. I'm not involved in politics, but corruption is particularly prevalent among politicians. And it affects us all. Somehow it seems that the poorer a country is, the more corruption there is. Perhaps this is related to the fact that you can also say that corruption makes countries poor. The people who come from these countries have to get rid of this bad habit, even if it is difficult for them. Unfortunately, this is not the case, because corruption is also becoming more and more prevalent in the western world.
Those who tolerate corruption or are even corrupt themselves are gambling with their lives and the lives of their loved ones. This is because corruption circumvents rules, which increases the danger. A good example is construction, where you can buy your way out and something bad can happen.
I have seen many such cases in the past and have also bribed many myself, which I am not happy about. After years, I don't do it anymore and would only do it if a life was in danger. How do you see it?

Gestern Abend habe ich mit einem Freund über Korruption gesprochen und darüber, wie sehr diese der Gesellschaft schadet. Ich betreibe keine Politik, wobei Korruption vor allem bei Politikern zu beobachten ist. Und das betrifft uns alle. Irgendwie scheint es so zu sein, dass umso ärmer ein Land ist, desto mehr Korruption gibt es. Vielleicht hängt das damit zusammen, denn man kann auch sagen: Korruption macht Länder arm. Die Leute, die aus diesen Ländern kommen, müssen diese schlechte Gewohnheit ablegen, auch wenn es für sie schwer ist. Leider ist es nicht so, denn Korruption wird auch in der westlichen Welt immer präsenter.
Diejenigen, die Korruption tolerieren oder sogar selbst korrupt sind, spielen mit ihrem Leben und dem Leben ihrer Liebsten. Denn durch Korruption werden Regeln umgangen, was die Gefahr erhöht. Ein gutes Beispiel ist der Bau, wo man sich eine Abnahme kaufen kann und wo etwas Schlimmes passieren kann.
In der Vergangenheit habe ich viele solcher Fälle gesehen und auch selbst viele bestochen, worüber ich nicht froh bin. Nach Jahren mache ich es nicht mehr und würde es nur tun, wenn ein Leben in Gefahr wäre. Wie seht ihr das?
