There's something to be said when social media post impressions are up 37 percent, new followers are up 9.1 percent, and post likes are up 42 percent. That's the picture for me this morning on my X Blue posts.

Of course, it's not all pancakes and syrup. Engagement rate is down 9.2 percent, profile visits are down 17 percent, replies are down 12 percent, and media views are down 89 percent. Nevertheless, with 2,215 impressions on my X posts during the last 7 days, I'm in the mood for a Yuengling.

If you've never had Yuengling beer, trust me! It's better than nookie (and that's from a guy who's had LOTS of nookie!).

Anyway, that aside aside, I'm super-excited to dive into my impressions and engagements.

Impressions and Engagements (Not of the Legal Kind)

I've had 9,000 impressions on my post in the last 28 days. While that's nowhere near the level I need to monetize my X posts, it's not too shabby for a young account. In the last 7 days, the number of impressions on all of my X posts has been 2.1 thousand. That's an average of 309 per day.

More important than the actual number is how evenly distributed those impressions have been over the last 7 days. On Wednesday, March 13, my posts saw 414 impressions. Both the day before and the day after registered more than 300 impressions each. Furthermore, there were 304 impressions on Sunday, March 17. The two days on either side of that date were 276 and 274, respectively. The day with the least number of impressions was Friday, March 15 when my posts saw 238 impressions. The chart shows a fairly even distribution throughout the week.

Engagement rate tells a different story.

The aggregate engagement rate for the week was 3.4 percent. The highest was March 13 with 5.8 percent. Engagement rate the day before was 5.4 percent. After that, however, the highest engagement rate was 3.6 percent, on March 16. The other four days were 2.5 percent or lower.

There isn't much to report on link clicks, but replies without comments, likes, and replies have their own stories to tell.

The average number of retweets per day in the last 7 days was 1. The average number of likes was 5 and the average number of replies was 2.

You can see from the chart that retweets were evenly distributed throughout the week. 9 total, with 2 on two different days -- March 12 and March 16.

My posts saw 33 likes throughout the week. The day with the highest number of likes was March 13 with 11. The day before saw 8 likes. Each of the other days registered 5 or less.

Replies tell a similar story. With 18 total replies for the week, my posts saw 4 on March 13, the day with the highest number. The day before registered 3 replies. On March 17, there were 2 replies to my posts but only 1 on each of the other days of the week.

These numbers aren't great, but they aren't bleak. I'm happy to see some consistency.

Top Posts of the Week

7 out of 17 posts had 30 or more impressions. The post with the highest number saw 57 impressions. It was a post about memecoins.

Two posts had 35 impressions each. One featured a picture of my book table on Day 3 of selling books at Kroger in Rockwall, Texas, published on March 15. The other, published March 13, was an alternative image of my book table on the first day of selling books.

Usually, when I talk about top posts, I'll find that at least one of my posts with the highest number of impressions also had one of the highest engagement rates. That wasn't the case this week.

The post with the highest engagement rate was a post about bitcoin's recent all-time highs. The post was published on March 13 and had a 20 percent engagement rate. The post with the second highest engagement rate was one linking to an @inleo article by @taskmaster4450. The article on Web 3.0 was published on March 17 and achieved a 16.7 percent engagement rate. The third highest engagement rate this week was 13.3 percent, for a post featuring my book table on the last day at Kroger in Rockwall, published on Saturday, March 16.

Finally, raw engagements. The post with the highest had 6 engagements. It was the post with the most impressions.

The second highest number of engagements (5) was also the post with the highest engagement rate. The post with the third highest number of engagements (4) was the post with the third highest engagement rate.

All in all, it was a good week for me on X. I'm up to 427 followers, counting down to the day when I pass 500.
