The Rebellion edition is the latest edition of cards in the Splinterlands game. This edition has got a great response from the community because of certain regions and even now after the launch of a couple of months, the demand for these packs is still high in the market. The presale was launched for thirty days and there was some promotional offer at that time they also provided the option to buy the pack using DEC. Dec is the in-game token that was available for the discount at that time and because of that people were able to book great discounts while buying the pack during the promotional sale. Even when the sale was ongoing at that time also the price for the dec token started growing and after the launch of the land this price improved significantly and it was back to its big range.

DEC is known as the stablecoin of the game whose value should be 1000 tokens worth $1 and it was there when the land was launched. Now the price of DEC is slightly down but not much that you can say it's a big discount however a discount of about 3 to 4% can be taken. Looking at the current market sentiment where the demand for DEC is high I don't think its price is going to drop further soon.

When the promotional sale for the Rebellion edition was ongoing that time I bought some packs but I had a plan that I would buy more in the general sales. Now a general sale is available but the price is high and if I do the comparison between what it was before and now then there is a big gap. I try to keep an eye on the pack price on the hive engine marketplace and also for the DEC price. Its been over a month and I couldn't find any opportunity in which I should enter and buy the price of one pack is pretty close to four dollars in the open market. The price for one rebellion pack in the game shop is $5 but if we use a voucher token then we can avail 20% discount and in that way, it can be purchased for 4 dollars. If we buy at least 100 packs then a 5% discount can also be availed but that is not so big because earlier it was 10% in the previous edition of booster packs.

I plan to buy approximately 500 packs in total but I'm waiting for the right opportunity in which I can buy more packs. Even if I do not get the opportunity soon to buy the pack then also I will be trying to buy some cards from this edition. In my case, both are good because the pack I will be buying for the long-term holding and the cards I purchase will be used for the game. I am a player and I have any card that is good in the game that can improve my gameplay. I can see some reduction on the card price but it is not applicable on all the cards however some cards are available at some discount but I am planning to wait for some more time. Probably I will be buying more cards in one go instead of buying one by one because this will help me to level up.

I prefer playing battles with the high-level card because with level one or two it's not fun and at least I expect that with rebellion addition cards should be level five or above. It depends on the market price and if I see a better price for some of the cards then I'm gonna buy it and level up for the better gaming experience on the battleground. In this way, I plan to hold back for the long term because I expect that value will appreciate over time and whatever cards I will buy are for the long-term holding as a player because these cards will be used in the game.

I hope that in the coming months, there will be some price dip for the Rebellion edition in the market and that will be the time when I will enter however I am not sure when is it going to happen but I will continue to track the prices in the market. The Rebellion edition is also good for the modern format player but I have been playing wild format for a long hence I would prefer to use the same format maybe if I have more cards from Rebellion then I can think about changing the gameplay format.

Thank you
