The latest edition of booster pack is called Rebellion and this is now available in general sale. It means we can buy any number of packs available in the market without any promotional benefits. The presale what success that had 500k packs in total and it was for month however after that the general sale was started. Now we can buy the packs from the shop in game or from the open market which is hive-engine. If we buy the packs from the in game shop then we get the eligibility for the air drop however this time the air drop mechanism is different but that is another part and I will try to discuss in another post. When we buy the pack from the open market then we are not eligible for the any airdrop however if the value appreciate then it is going to be a profitable deal for us and I expect they should be happening looking at the overall demand for these packs in the market.
I check in the hive-engine market for the rebellion packs and also sharing the snapshot below. You will see that majority of the people are buying the pack and there are very few sellers on the trade history which clearly shows that demand for these packs is high in the market. Earlier we had some discounted the will because if we buy through the DC token then it can be some sort of benefit because the price was not in the pegged range but that's not the case anymore. Even if you buy the pack through d is he token then also the price is going to be almost the same however if you buy in the game shop then you can avail or discount after 20% by using the voucher token. The cost of one pack is $5 but with the combination of vouchers this can be purchase for $4 in the form of Dec or the SPS.
My plan
I did buy some pack in the presale but that is not all because I have planned by more packs. I will be buying the packs for the holding and I also did the same with the Chaos Legion edition. I did buy more than 600 packs from that addition and still holding but that is not profitable deal because the value of those pack is dropped a lot and its not even $1 as of now. I was expecting a significant price increase for the Chaos packs but that did not happen how you are with rebellion I expect again that things will be valuable. Because of that I have a plan to buy few hundred packs that I will continue to hold.
I will prefer to buy the packs from the in-game shop so that I get eligible for the airdrop. I was able to get multiplayer draw barbie chachi generation i hope that if i buy mopac in rebellion then i will be eligible for the address in the solution as well and these are drop can be more valuable sometimes. I even got some gold foil cards and legendary so the airdrop and with rebellion also I expect the same however still now the first airdrop has not happened yet hence I will see if i can avail this opportunity to buy.
Overall the demand for rebellion packs are high in the market and i am waiting to see if there is some correction on the DEC price. I'm not sure whether it will happen or not however trying to keep an eye if it happens and then I'll buy a bunch of Dec which I will utilised by rebellion pack. I also have quite a good number of voucher tokens with me and if there is value appreciation then also I can you tell by the rebellion pack. This way basically I have two options with me and now let's see which one works well for me. If the price for voucher also appreciate which I don't expect to happen soon unless there is some increased demand in the market but if that happens then I would be able to buy more pack from the rebellion edition.
I also have the plan to buy cards from the rebellion edition but I will start doing it from the new year onwards which will be part of my deck building in the new edition since the cards are dedicated for the game and not for the land utilisation.
