Splinterlands game has officially announced that they are going to launch two cards for the upcoming event which is called Bitcoin halving. The entire global crypto community is looking forward to this event because this is such a big event in this market and post this we can expect more value addition in the market. Bitcoin halving is the event that reduces minor rewards by 50% which will surely reduce the income for miners but in the long run it is going to make Bitcoin more valuable. mining is the process that is followed to generate new Bitcoin and people who do this job are rewarded with Bitcoin and currently, they are earning 6.5 Bitcoins in each block. After the halving event, they will be able to get 3.125 Bitcoin which is half of what they have been getting since the last halving. The last Halloween event happened in April 2020 and we are about 8 days away from this year's halving event.
In the last Bitcoin halving event Splinterland released a promotional card called HALFLING ALCHEMIST and this is a powerful card in the game. Halving is the ability that is given to this card along with another ability called redemption from level 4 onwards. This is an epic card in neutral element and its a promo monster card. I have this card in level and this is a good addition to the deck undoubtedly. I did not upgrade this card but today I see quite a low price for this card hence I will think about upgrading later but soon.
Baron Fyatt & Henchling Enforcer New Cards
This time splinterlands team has announced two promo cards for the Bitcoin halving event and these are called Baron Fyatt & Henchling Enforcer. Both come with dual elements which is great and getting halving ability ofcourse along with other abilities. More details about both cards can be found in this post
There will be one Legendary (Baron Fyatt) and one Rare (Henchling Enforcer) promo card offered for sale, both of which are dual-element units with the Halving ability. As limited-edition promo cards, these cards will only be available for purchase during this event, and will not be found in packs. Once the event ends, the cards will only be able to be obtained on the peer-to-peer marketplace from other players.
This sale is going to be a nice event as there are more rewards lined up for the participants. We would be able to buy these cards using DEC and credits along with vouchers that are going to give us up to 50% discount. Its another opportunity for us to use some vouchers and I have Enough vouchers to get some cards with a discount. There is going to be a point system in this promo sale where early participants will get more points which will continue to be reduced later. The team has also reserved rewards worth $100k through different assets in the game.
Please keep in mind that there will be a 3x point multiplier on the first day of the event
This is another important point that should not be missed and I will TRY to buy ALL on day 1 so that I can get higher points which might make me eligible for some reward out of the Reward Pool. I always feel good when I get rewarded for some participation in the game and I don't know whether I'll be able to win or not but for sure I'll be participating in this event because it is a valuable card and I want these cards to be part of my card collection. I hope many players will be participating in this sale because this is an available card because of its abilities and also the kind of rewards the team has aligned for this upcoming event.
I am looking forward to this event and will be participating and buying whatever is possible. It's just 4 days away from NOW because this will be starting from 16th April onwards. Usually, promo parts are good in the game but these days some cards have lost their value in the market and I hope something happens in the game that brings that value back. I still believe that the team will be able to bring some changes to the game and they are trying to make it more exciting in the coming weeks and months.
