It's Saturday again, and time for my weekly #saturdaysavers update !
It's starting to get a bit autumnal in the Northern hemisphere, and if you are here in the UK, don't forget the clocks go back tonight. My least favourite day of the year, it means I don't get that half hour or so after finishing work when there's still enough light to do a bit of pottering in the garden.

Here's my chart of progress this week;

Review of the week
We're on Week 43 out of 52, so more than 4/5 of the way through the year.
Overall it's been a good week. Accepting that I can't post every day, but doing two or three posts when the writing bug hits me and I've got time is definitely working as a way to keep post numbers up while not creating a source of stress.
My HP goal is on target, but only just - HPUD on Wednesday should help that ! I won't be able to power up a huge amount (too many real life bills to chuck more Fiat at it), but combined with a better posting rate should keep me on target.
HBD has come up very slightly, and should do more when the monthly interest comes in next week.
A task for next week is to try to post a little more in some of the more popular communities. It's terribly mercenary, but those posts are the ones which often get the best earnings. But the idea is that it'll be on top of the posts I currently do, not instead of them. I still enjoy the creative writing side of things, so I won't be giving that up !
The other task I've set myself for next week is entirely non-Hive related. I want to start clearing through dead stock and house clutter and start getting it onto eBay, Facebook Marketplace etc. It's mostly a de-cluttering exercise, because I find a cluttered environment clutters my mind up, but hopefully it'll make a little bit of fiat that I can push towards crypto investment.

If you're not familiar with SaturdaySavers, it's a fabulous initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account, where we all support each other in getting to our savings goals.
If you are one of my friends reading this (or just someone who tripped over one of my posts), I really recommend this as a great community that's well worth joining.
I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #saturdaysavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.
So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
