It's Saturday ! That means it's time for my weekly #saturdaysavers update....
For once the weather is dry, so this might be a shorter post than usual, because I can finally get out into the garden and do some work on the bike 😀

Last week was a good one !
Highlights included;

Getting the payouts for a couple of posts that performed really well, which made the HP gain for the week a healthy 31HP.

A nice spike in the price of HIVE meant I was able to buy HBD at a great price, using liquid HIVE I'd bought at a price of £0.24 back in January. I'm going to have to watch my liquid HIVE balance carefully though, some expensive car costs mean I'm unlikely to be able to buy any more for a while, and I doubt I'll get it as cheap as it was in January !

Yesterday was LEO Power Up Day - you can find my LPUD post HERE. I'm gradually getting closer to the point where I can earn enough LEO in a single month that I don't need to buy any to hit the 150 baseline for LPUD.

I've been able to keep my posting rate up to the initial goal of averaging one a day, although the more advanced goal of 1.5 which I really should be doing to make LEO Premium worthwhile still eludes me. The level of earnings on each post is still incredibly variable. I accept that's just how HIVE is, but it's sometimes frustrating when a post I spend ages fine-tuning earns less than something I throw together in just a few minutes !

I've let the number of comments I'm making slip. Need to focus on that a bit ! It's been a busy week in the real world, and it's far too easy to surf and upvote without commenting when my brain is fried by work.

I seem to be increasing my VESTS at a rate which is 0.1% of the way between dolphin and orca each week. If the inflation in VESTS needed to level up is matched by increases in compounding as my account grows in value, I should get to be an orca in about 852 weeks, or sixteen and a half years. I'll be surprised if I get to live to be that old 😁
Overall I'm happy with the gains I made last week, it was a nice solid week where I mostly stayed focused on the goals I've set myself. How was your week ?

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #saturdaysavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.
So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
