Welcome to my part of the world which is located in the Northern Hemisphere.
Growing up, I have always experienced different weather in this part of the world from being extremely hot, to extremely cold, to slightly cold, to slightly hot and to neutral.
For me, I enjoy it most when we experience the extreme coldness which is usually known as the Harmattan season, the only disadvantage about this weather is the fact that the whole area is usually very dusty and people's skin are usually flaky hehe.
If one is not careful, their skin becomes extremely dried and begin to tear as a result of the dryness, so the Harmattan season is a very good time to always moisturize without being scared of sweating profusely.
For quite a while too, we have also had to deal with extreme hotness and the annoying part about this weather is that the Power Holding Company in my country messes you up at this time, during the very hot season we yearn for the artificial breeze like electric fans, and air conditioners to ease the hotness but too bad we just make do with a manual hand fan and if you're rich enough, you could enjoy your electric fan with the use of Solar panels or you can make do with rechargeable fans.
The extreme hotness brings in a lot of sickness like measles, chicken pox,heat stroke and heat rashes which affects the children mostly.
If I am to rate the weather on a scale of 1-10, then I would say it's usually very hot most of the time and funnily the climate change isn't predictable anymore as the cut down of trees, industrialization and harmful substances released into the atmosphere has really affected the global warming.
For quite a while now, the weather has been a bit mild and calm, it has been raining inconsistently , some days are just a shower of blessing other days are very stormy while some days are just drizzles, this has made the weather calm and cold for a couple of weeks now especially at night where one will have to wear a sweater and some times socks to stay warm, now the Power Holding Company is choking us with constant power supply, when we really do not even need electric fans or air conditioners, life isn't balanced after all, hehe.
The only disadvantage about this current weather is the fact that, one might get caught up in the rain as it gives little or no signal before it begins to rain,I can't count how many times I have been drenched by the rain, it is what is though.
Another challenge has been the bad roads which eventually cause flooding and then traffic jam.
One will also make a constant effort to wash clothes and get them dried as there has not been sufficient Sunshine to dry them.
I believe that season comes and goes and each season has their benefits, the only thing I wish a lot of people do is to keep it clean and safe for habitation, like planting of trees and disposing off trash properly so that during the rainy seasons one wouldn't have to face flooding as a result of poor sanitation, neither would we face erosion because of deforestation.
If we have enough trees, our communities will be beautified , purified and we will have shelter when the sun scorches us with its intense heat.
