I have to admit, I don't wear hats like this very often, but every time I put one on, I wonder why I don't do it more. There's just something about a big black cowboy hat that makes me feel a little more confident and playful.
And of course, I couldn't wear it without my favorite red lipstick! ❤️
I was getting ready and originally thought about wearing something completely different, but then I saw this white shirt and decided to keep things simple. A classic white shirt, black shorts, a cute hat, and a little makeup. Sometimes that's all you need!
Although, knowing me, I still spent way too much time checking my hair in the mirror. 😂
I love how a simple accessory can completely change an outfit. Without the hat, I probably would have looked like I was heading to a regular lunch. With it, suddenly I feel ready for some country music and a little dancing!
Not that I'm an amazing dancer, by the way. I just enjoy myself and hope nobody is paying too much attention to my feet. 🤣
Something else I really like about this picture is that it reminds me how much fun it can be to try different styles. Some days I'm wearing my gym clothes and sneakers, other days I want a pretty dress and heels, and sometimes I just feel like adding a little cowgirl attitude to my afternoon.
I don't think we have to stick to one particular style. I like being able to change things depending on my mood.
And today? My mood was definitely black hats, bright red lips, and a little extra confidence. 💋
I ended up taking several selfies because I couldn't decide which angle I liked best. Typical me! But this one made me smile, so here it is.
Now all I'm missing is a good country song, some delicious food, and maybe someone willing to teach me a few proper dance steps. 🤠🎶
